What to Expect

Clinical Interview & Record Review
A thorough history of your symptoms, medical history, and background will be obtained in order to best understand you and your concerns. This can include reviewing any medical or school records, as well as obtaining information from family or other providers.

Testing
Testing includes paper-and-pencil and computerized tests that are designed to thoroughly assess your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, academic skills (as appropriate), mood, and personality (as appropriate). Testing can take anywhere from 2-8 hours and may be broken into more than one day.

Report & Feedback
Test results will be integrated with your symptom, medical, & psychosocial history into a comprehensive report. The results of the evaluation, as well as treatment recommendations, will be reviewed with you in a separately scheduled feedback session. You will be provided a copy of the evaluation report for your records.

BASELINE TESTING
Baseline evaluations are available for individuals who are not currently experiencing any cognitive symptoms or concerns. They are especially helpful for highly intelligent or high functioning individuals to assess for subtle changes over time.
